Marathon Adventures creates boutique marathon festivals in some of the best-loved regional towns across Victoria and New South Wales.
Our current events take place in Broken Hill, Mildura, Dimboola and Horsham, with more exciting destinations planned for NSW, Victoria and South Australia from 2027 and beyond.
Our marathon festivals are about much more than the marathon. Alongside the full marathon, each event offers a half marathon, 10km, 5km and a 2km Kids’ Dash – or a quarter marathon in Horsham – giving runners of all ages and abilities the chance to be part of the experience.
We’re passionate about bringing our events into the heart of each community. Wherever possible, we work with local organisations, businesses and community groups to help showcase what makes each destination special. Our events bring visitors to these wonderful regional towns, and we encourage participants and their supporters to stay a little longer, explore the local sights, enjoy the food and hospitality, and discover everything the town and surrounding region has to offer.
WESTERN VICTORIA MARATHON FESTIVAL SERIES
In 2027, the Mildura, Dimboola and Horsham events will come together as the Western Victoria Marathon Festival Series.
Take part in all three events and you’ll earn a special Series medal, as well as enjoying discounted entry fees across the three events.
It’s a great way to experience three very different regional destinations while taking on a rewarding running challenge along the way.
